beauty vs. truth

i have put together this series using plants and animals that are commonly found around our nighbourhood. i have shot them in hyper- realistic colors to give them some sense of ‘ethereal quality’, making them uncommon, out of the world.
this story examines our notions and perceptions about what is ‘beautiful’. do they have to be uncommon and rare? or could it be sitting in your backyard, silently?
